Abstract

Vietnamese opera is a typical mixture of Western music and Vietnamese traditional musical culture,

qualifying Vietnamese musical values at international level. Getting started smoothly and significantly,

Vietnamese opera, however, has experienced a complicated development with inconsistent pacing and

very little connection among the constituent aspects of composition, performance, and training. It is

necessary to connect the composing, performing and training activities of Vietnamese opera for it to

engage more audience and achieve better development, and to reinforce the position of Vietnam in the

process of global cultural integration.
