ABSTRACT

The relationship between universities and enterprises in research and technology transfer is an

indispensable process to meet the needs of innovation and development for both sides. Many

research achievements from universities have been successfully applied in businesses that bring

big revenues and profits. However, this relationship has not really developed compared to the

potential and expectations of stakeholders due to barriers arising outside the relationship that the

parties themselves can not overcome and solve. . In order to promote this relationship, it is

necessary for a third party to be a bridge to create a favorable environment for their development.

This article will analyze the nature of the relationship, the benefits, subjective and objective

barriers related to the relationship, from which to find an important link to foster this relationship

to develop.
