Abtract

Currency security has become a vital issue facing each and every nation, especially

in the context of fast pace globalisation and economic, financial liberalisation like

today. As for Vietnam, a socialist-oriented market economy, currency security is

even more crucial, becomes the prerequisite to develope its economy and stablise the

macroeconomics.

To ensure the currency-finance security of credit instutions, it is needed to closely monitor indicators that reflect the level of financial and monetary security of banks and

banking system, provide prompt responses to the threats triggering financial-monetary insecurity so as to stablise and strengthen the banking system that could be

capable of preventing and treating financial and monetary insecurity and precluding

a financial-monetary crisis.
